First Impressions - Herbal Essences Dry Shampoo

You know that cheating feeling you get when you buy another product over a one you love and cherish?

Well, that's exactly the feeling I got when I bought the limited edition dry shampoo from Herbal Essenes over Batiste.

However, that feeling slowly disappeared when I began using the product.

First of all, it smells amazing and my hair instantly felt fresher once I used it. Secondly, the product doesn't appear white when you apply it onto your hair.

At first I thought "Eh why is this not working?" Then I realised "Wow it's clear!" I then also realised I had used faaaar too much. Nevertheless, when I used it the second time with less product  I noticed it's so much easier to rub in to give you that feeling of freshly washed hair.

My hair can also appear quite flat and dull during the day, but after spraying this, my hair looked like it instantly had more volume.

And let's face it who can complain about volume?

However, although I'm loving using this, I still can't bare to say goodbye to Batiste, but there may be some room in my bathroom cupboard for the both of them.

Also, on another note Superdrug is selling it for £1.49, so how could I not resist.

Hair Saviour - H'Suan Wen Hna

Meet H'Suan Wen Hna - Don't worry I have no idea how you pronounce that either!

But despite the name this product has totally saved my hair. My hair just like any young ladies goes though a lot in a day, washing, drying, and styling.

All that heat on my hair caused a break out of split ends and before I got it cut I couldn't stand it so wore it up constantly.

Until I discovered H'Suan Wen Hna hair treatment from Lush, which was recommend to me by a friend.

Now don't get me wrong the smell isn't great in my opinion, but that doesn't change how much I love it. My hair was dry, split and frizzy and after using it only once I noticed a difference in the quality of my hair.

How to use:

This hair mask is a little different from other ones and you apply it on dry hair for 20 minutes. Nevertheless, when I did my first treatment I left it on over night. However, I left it on for the recommend time after as you don't want to drain your hair of its natural oils.

So for the 20 minutes you can relax in the bath, hover, anything you like. But after you simply wash and condition as normal.

I'm now in the middle of the recommend time to use the product. It says for really damaged hair use once a week for six weeks and I'm now going into my fourth week and I couldn't be happier with the result.

I will most definitely be going back and buying this hair treatment again and again.

So if any of you like me have trouble with split ends or your hair just tends to feel a bit dryer sometimes I think this should be on top of your wish list.

For the love of stationary

Most students will be pressing their snooze buttons whilst attempting to peel themselves out of bed  tomorrow morning since it's the first day back at university. I will most definitely be one of them.

Nevertheless, I can't help but feel prepared, not mentally but definitely physically since I have all the stationary any university student could have to get them though the year.

I may have spent too much and went to Paperchase instead of Asda. Three years and I still haven't learnt.

Definitely worth the money, have you seen the faces on those highlighters.

Until Wednesday.

P.S in my next post I may reveal what I believe is the secret to soft hair. It's worked wonders for me and may work wonders for you too!

My Skincare Favourites

Anyone who knows me will know that I am the worst at remembering to take my make-up off. Almost every morning I'd wake up with the classic panda eye and would have to scrub my face before re-applying my make-up that day.

Would I call myself lazy or forgetful? I'd definitely go with lazy. Not because I didn't want to take my make-up off but simply because it would take me longer to take it off than put it on.

This leads to to number one in my list of favourites - Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water

I have been using this cleanser for the past two months and I haven't went a single day without rubbing my make-up off. It says on the bottle that it's a efficient and easy way to remote make-up whilst hydrating your face and I couldn't agree more.

Not only that but it's also really affordable as well. The product is usually sold for £4.99 but Boots have a special offer on at the minute for £3.33, which is amazing value. Especially when I have been using the product everyday for the past two month and still have more than a quarter left!

This leads me to my next favourite which is Clinique dramatically different moisturizing lotion. Now try saying that ten times fast! I actually received a 15ml bottle free with Company Magazine and it is now my favourite face moisturiser so I will definitely be buying a bottle when I run out.

I can't deny that my skin hasn't improved since using this product. I used to have a really dry forehead but after using this twice a day, before applying my make-up and after taking my make-up off I've noticed a massive difference in my skin particularly my forehead.

Although Clinique is an expensive brand, the quality of the moisturiser is impressive. I've also been using the small bottle for one month now and still have half left so it is value for money. Especially since you don't need a lot of the product to feel like you have gained moisture back into your face after a long day. Therefore, I would definitely recommend buying this product. The 50ml tube is just £17.50.

What lady doesn't like to have a warm bath with a face mask after a long day? No-one, well apart from my boyfriend who didn't appreciate it, but men, they know knowing. Which is why I've chosen Quick Fix Facials - Purifying Charcoal Mask  as my third and final favourite.

I just love how it heats up when it's on your face, it's almost as if you can feel it working and when you remove it you face feels instantly smoother and cleaner. It's also again incredibly affordable as it's just £3, plus it comes in a tube so you not only get one mask but ten. I think it's definitely a product to keep in mind even if it's just for a girly night.

Thank you so much for reading an I'd love to hear if you have any skin products you think I may like as well.
